Roofing Systems
Protan single ply (PVC) roofing membranes are ideally suited for flat roof constructions as well as on design, pitched, curved and green roofs, where strength and impermeability are particularly vital. Protan has developed its Roofing Systems based upon 35 years practical experience of its own Roofing Contracting Divisions. Reassuringly - it works!

Ventiflex
Used worldwide, Protan Ventiflex is a ventilation system suitable for tunnels and other underground applications. The fabric is supplied in the form of a long duct. Outside the tunnel a powerful fan blows fresh air into the dict, and the fresh air drives exhausted air out. In this way the working climate at the tunnel face improves quickly after a detonation. At the Protan factory at Nesbyen, new and improved solutions are constantly being developed.
Technical Textiles and Wall coverings
Protan`s experience and know-how in coating textiles with PVC is put to use in a wide range of areas. The products are used for plastic structures all over the world - from arctic regions to the tropics - warehouses, aircraft, hangars, sports hall, hospital tents, speedway, waterstorage and distribution etc. Tarpaulins protect goods and material at building sites, in harbours, industry and agriculture. Sealing material for rock caverns an road tunnels stop water seepage. Sophisticated product development has enabled Protan to manufacture bags in large and gigantic dimensions for sorage and sea transport of fresh water or temporary recovery and storage for oil spills.
Protan`s coated wallpapers are produced in a number of colours, patterns and widths specially designed for machine lamination to boards. The product consist of a paper core with a lightly textured PVC surface. It is primarily used for automatic wallpapering on plasterboard ad chipboard. The wall coverings can be supplied in various textures and to different colour specifications.
