As part of our anniversary year, we’re also highlighting the creative and unexpected potential of our materials through a unique partnership with Warsaw’s School of Form. What happens when construction materials meet cutting-edge design? The answer: innovation takes on a whole new shape.
In this creative upcycling project, design students were invited to rethink our roofing membranes as raw materials for wearable pieces and functional objects. After hands-on training at the Protan Roofing School in Pabianice, they produced a series of striking creations—including dresses, coats, backpacks, and even a revolver holster.
“The students’ ingenuity and craftsmanship were truly inspiring,” says Miąsek. “They proved that our membranes can go far beyond their original function—and become the foundation for something completely new.”
A final fashion show will take place on the 22st May as part of our 25th anniversary celebrations, putting these student creations on a professional catwalk and showing the world that innovation at Protan is not limited to roofs.
