Diversity at Protan


Protan has a large and multicultural workforce in all our areas of operation. We do not tolerate bullying of colleagues, clients, suppliers or other partners. Neither do we condone discrimination on the basis of religion, ethnicity, sex or sexual orientation.

We have taken part in the “Fast Track” programme run by the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration and the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise. This programme aims to get refugees with skills quickly into contact with employers. This has led to the employment of many competent colleagues.

We would like to see more women in traditionally male-dominated roles such as machine operators and roofers. In our campaigns to recruit more qualified roofers and apprentices, we have featured Ingvild Fellheim from our branch in Tønsberg.

Two women are part of Protan’s Group Management and there are four women on the Board of Directors.
