Protan has three production units in Norway (Drammen, Nesbyen and Sandefjord), together with factories in Poznan in Poland and Gebze outside Istanbul in Turkey.
Drammen: High quality and environmentally friendly roof membranes, technical textiles and Ventiflex tunnel ventilation are produced at the factory next to our head office in Drammen.
Nesbyen: The production unit at Nesbyen makes up and adapts the membranes, textiles and ventilation material produced in Drammen.
Sandefjord: Protan acquired Litex, which is located in Sandefjord, in 2015. The well-known membrane plates used in wetrooms are manufactured here.
Poznan: Protan Elmark in Poznan produces complete hall for many purposes, based on Protan’s technical textiles. These are exported all over the world.
Istanbul: Protan acquired Turkish Multiplan in 2019. The factory in Gebze outside Istanbul in Turkey is a high-level modern production unit, which manufactures membranes for both roofs and tunnels.
