Protan has delivered the complete roofing solution for Neumann’s new, state-of-the-art facility in Fagerdalen, scheduled for completion in November 2025. Our scope includes roofing and insulation across 7,600 m², as well as 7,000 m² of sedum roof – creating a green, energy-efficient roof that protects the building while supporting local biodiversity.

The roof system is built with Protan SE Titanium and Protan GG 2.0, membranes known for durability, flexibility and long-term performance. The sedum cassettes, supplied by Bergknapp, provide natural insulation, delay stormwater runoff, and offer a visually appealing finish.

The 12,200 m² building is developed by Safari Eiendom and constructed by Lars Jønsson AS to BREEAM standards, with strict requirements for material selection, energy efficiency, and sustainable resource use. Environmental considerations have shaped the entire project, including reuse of interior elements, installation of a geothermal system, and biodiversity measures such as an insect hotel on the roof.

Protan is proud to contribute solutions that unite performance, aesthetics, and sustainability—making the roof on Neumann Lønborg a strong example of forward-thinking building practice.
