We are proud to launch our Sustainability Report for 2025. The report that shows both how far we have come and how much work still lies ahead.

Sustainability is not something we do on the side. It is part of how we develop Protan. This report gives a picture of our progress, what we have achieved, and where we need to step up our efforts going forward.

This year’s highlights

Over the past year, we have seen several clear results:

51% reduction in serious injuries from 2024
Scope 2 emissions reduced by 13–14%
6% average recycled content in our roofing solutions
19.3% women in management roles
5,230 kg of materials collected from customers through PROcycle
70% employee engagement, up from last year

Where the real work lies

At the same time, the report is a clear reminder of where the main challenge lies:

95.5% of our emissions are in Scope 3, which means our raw materials, transport, and our suppliers’ value chains. This means that our greatest opportunity lies beyond our own factories.

This is complex work, and progress will not always be linear. But we are clear about the direction and committed to doing what it takes.

What we have learned

Sustainability is a continuous journey. Through this work, a few things have become clear:

Clear ownership turns ambition into action

The road ahead

While we have taken important steps in 2025, we are still at the beginning. We will continue to grow, challenge how we work, and raise our ambitions, step by step.

For us, sustainability is about more than reporting. It is about how we build a stronger, more resilient, and future-ready Protan.
