Some tunnels start as an opening on the surface, but many service tunnels begin at the bottom of a vertical shaft. In such tunnels it is crucial for the ventilation system to ensure the supply of fresh air down to the tunnel and to provide practical, airtight and durable transitions from a vertical to a horizontal ventilation duct system.
How it works
- Protan Ventiflex Shaft is constructed with two, three or four suspension ribs that are attached to wires with specially designed non-slip hooks and clips.
- A turnbuckle at one end of the wire ensures correct suspension.
- Our solutions are flexible, and we supply duct lengths for both excavation and static installations.
- We also supply required duct diameters from ø200 mm to ø3200 mm in all duct lengths.
