PROTAN SINGLE BARRIER SYSTEM

Protan delivers waterproofing systems for Single Barrier applications. The Single Barrier System is selected for applications under high hydrostatic water pressure conditions and this system can be monitored after the completion of the tunnel structure, providing a possibility for the necessary repairs, by using compartments and injection possibilities, without the need of any destructive investigation.

This system allows for application on to wet and irregular substrates. Overall quality of this system is achievable easily with a great cost efficiency from the viewpoint of materials and installation process.

Protan recommends a single barrier system for hydrostatic pressure. Use InfraPlan P20 or P30 with PVC- P membranes or InfraPlan TF20 or 30 with TPO / FPO membranes. Depending on substrate conditions, the range of a PROTAN Geo (drainage/protection layer) are from 700g to 1200g. The system can be finalizing with PROTAN Protect 20 before applying the secondary lining.
